About
Before setting up my consultancy in 2019, I was Regeneration Manager at The Churches Conservation Trust, the national charity protecting churches at risk.
Working within the Regeneration team, I helped to:
Develop and deliver several major NLHF-funded projects for ‘closed’ churches in the Trust’s care
Provide external consultancy services to ‘active’ places of worship
Extend the Trust’s training programme in community-led regeneration for UK and international clients
Prior to joining the heritage sector, I enjoyed a first career in publishing. I worked for over 20 years for the global academic publisher, Blackwell Publishing Ltd (latterly bought by John Wiley & Sons Inc), where I held various managerial positions and ran the History books programme. Alongside these roles, I freelanced as an editor of non-fiction titles in history, politics and art history.
